Master Of The House

Master,

I am a stranger to you
but will you to hear my  confession?

I am a faceless man who lives
in the backyard of
your house

I share your table
So heavily heaped with bread,
fruit and meat
It huffs like a horse drawing a coal cart

Along a cold and lonely road

As the rich-man to Lazarus ,
The crumbs are swept to my lap by my Lizzy
Sweetie, eat and be satisfied now
Tomorrow we shall be gone

I wrestle with your dog
for the bone pregnant with meat
and wash it down with your cat which just delivered  milk

Master,
I am the  nocturnal animal
that steals through the fenced lair
to meet  my mate
and flees at the break of down
before the hunter
runs me to the ground.

For my dreams are as short as the miniskirt

For To visualize what you can't see
That's the paradoxical pleasure of the mind

In the afterbirth of seeing,
Death of imagination.

Hear my humble plea

Please, master of the house
Before you throw me out

Master of the House

Please her This plea,

I want to marry the princess

For the wise one,

Once said "A man sooner or later discovers

that he is the master-gardener of his soul,

the director of his life.''

For  every creature is better alive than dead

Men and mouse and pine trees, and he who understands it aright will rather preserve its life than destroy it.

Master of the House,

This is what moves me.

A moment of laughter

Resurfaces on ones face  again.

Master of the House,

Please hear my plea

Who is this Master?  He is that Fat bellied Politician Managing The Economy

He’s a wheeler he’s a dealer and a stealer and a thief

His lack of guilt and conscience is just beyond belief

His invective is defective, a collective load of bull

He wants your pockets empty so his coffers will be full

He connives and he deprives and he survives using his wit

He is a patronising bugger and a two faced hypocrite

He’s a preacher, a beseecher and a creature of the dark

He has the morals of a vulture and the menace of a shark

He is vicious and capricious and suspicious of all men

He will bleed you to the marrow, then bleed you once again

He’s impure, he’s insecure, and he will lure you to his pack

He’ll encourage you to join him and then stab you in the back

He is profligate, a reprobate, a candidate for power

He’ll give you bad advice and then charge you by the hour

He’s critical and political, and is typical of his kind

He’s a devious politician with a twisted, cunning mind

Panic and Pain

Are all I feel.

Panic and pain.

This can't be real.

Panic and pain.

What will we do.

Panic and pain.

I wish I knew.

A little girl

Growing too fast.

Her childhood

Already in her past.

Drugs and alcohol

Sex and tears.

Are the tools she uses

To hide her fears.

She can't get back

What she has lost.

She doesn't yet realize

What it has cost.

Poor little girl

Out in the rain.

And all I can feel

Is panic and pain.

Panic and Panic

Hides her all day and all night

Oh Poor Little girl

Panic and Pain

I s all that

This little boy knows.

This poor bastard

Knows not what is parental love

For on the streets he was raised

A father he knows not.

Oh Poor innocent boy

A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning,

As if supported by the rays of the sun,

A bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked.

Pain and Panic recedes for a while

Laughter fills my inner soul

Age does not protect you from love.

But love, to some extent, protects you from age.

These words from the wise rules the world

Anxiety is love's greatest killer.

It makes others feel as you might when a drowning man holds on to you.

You want to save him, but you know he will strangle you with his panic.

For man suffers in his pains alone

Dreams are necessary

Panic and Pain vanishes

When dreams are alive.

For in your pain and panic,

Face them with all your might

And you will certainly be the victor.
